Requests

How to create a Request and how its number is formed

Updated 10 October 2026 y. • v1.3.0

Before you start:
A Request is created under a Contract, so create the Contract beforehand. If you are a lawyer and want to specify the basis, prepare the Notice of protection beforehand as well.

Steps

  1. Open the "Requests" section;
  2. Click the "New Legal request" button;
  3. Fill in the form;
  4. Click the "Create Legal request" button.

What to enter in the form

  • Notice (lawyers only, optional) — the number of the Notice of protection on the basis of which the request is sent;
  • Contract (required) — the list contains only Contracts that are not yet completed;
  • Recipient's name and Recipient's address (required) — whom the request is addressed to;
  • Request date — today by default;
  • Date of request submission — fill it in when the request has been sent. If you specify a date, the Request immediately gets the "Sent" status;
  • Contents of the request — what information you are asking for.

How the number is formed

The Request number is assigned automatically and can't be changed manually. It consists of parts separated by a hyphen:

  • lawyer: serial number — Notice number — Contract number, for example 3-12-05/25. If no Notice is specified, the number consists of the serial number and the Contract number;
  • legal consultant: serial number — Contract number.

The serial number is counted across all your Requests. If the number is already taken (for example, after one of the requests was deleted), the system takes the next free one.
