Notice of protection under an Assignment (SGLA)

Updated 10 October 2026 y. • v1.3.0

Notices are prepared by lawyers. Legal consultants enter the case under an Assignment without a Notice, so this article is not needed for them.

When providing SGLA, a lawyer prepares not an ordinary Notice of protection but a Notice of the "SGLA" type. It is attached to the Assignment, not to a Contract.

How to prepare an SGLA Notice

  1. Create the Assignment beforehand (see the article "How to create an Assignment");
  2. In the "Notices of protection" section, click the button to create a new Notice;
  3. In the "Type of protection notice" field, choose "SGLA". Instead of the Contract list, a "Reason" field with a list of Assignments appears;
  4. Choose the Assignment number, specify the date and the body the Notice is addressed to;
  5. Save the Notice.

Notice numbering is shared: SGLA Notices and ordinary Notices form one series of numbers. The further work — editing, deleting, signing with a digital signature, Requests — is the same as for ordinary Notices (see the articles in the "Notices of protection" section).

Important:
Choose the "SGLA" type only when providing state-guaranteed legal aid. In all other cases, prepare an ordinary Notice under a Contract.

Generating the PDF

The PDF is generated on the Notice page in the same way as an ordinary one (the "Generate" button, choosing the language: Kazakh, Russian or both at once). SGLA uses a separate form: "Notice of protection (representation) as part of state-guaranteed legal aid" (Appendix No. 2).

  • the header shows your bar association and branch;
  • the text shows your full name, the license number and date, and the body the Notice is addressed to;
  • in the center are the names of the Customers from the Assignment (in Russian in the dative case, if it is filled in for the Customer);
  • in the "Grounds for entering the case" section is the Description from the Assignment.
Before you start:
Fill in your personal data (Profile), membership ("Professional information" tab) and license information ("Settings" tab). If something is missing, the system will tell you exactly what to fill in.
