How to grant access to a Case, Court case or Issue

Updated 10 October 2026 y. • v1.3.0

Access for a Colleague and a Customer is granted to a specific record: a Case, a Court case or an Issue. Access can be granted by the account owner and their Employees.

Plans:
Collaboration is available on the "PRO" plan.

How to grant access

  1. Open the Case, Court case or Issue you need and go to the "Team" tab;
  2. Click "Add user";
  3. Choose the person (the list shows those who accepted the invitation to your account);
  4. Choose a permission set or mark the permissions you need manually;
  5. Click "Grant access".

The user receives a notification, and if they don't read it within 10 minutes — an email. The permissions can be changed or revoked in the list on the same tab.

Permission sets

  • View only — sees the record itself, but creates and changes nothing;
  • Participant — comments, files, child data and creating Issues (suitable for a Customer and for a Colleague who helps with the case);
  • Co-executor — all permissions applicable to the record.

Individual permissions

  • Write comments;
  • Upload files (and delete them);
  • Access to child resources — for a Case: see its Contracts, Court cases and Issues; for a Court case: see Issues, participations and Reasons. Without this permission only the object itself is visible;
  • Create tasks and works;
  • Edit Case / Court case data (for a Case and a Court case);
  • Manage participations and Grounds (for a Court case);
  • Enter the result (for a Court case).

For an Issue the following apply: comments, files, access to child resources (subtasks) and creating subtasks and Works.

What a Colleague and a Customer can never do

  • complete and delete Cases and Court cases, change Contracts;
  • create Contracts, Assignments, Requests and Notices in your Case;
  • see AVRs, Notices of protection, Requests, Assignments, Customers, Reports, Statistics and Taxes;
  • grant access to others.
Issues of a Colleague and a Customer:
An Issue created in your Case belongs to your account: you and your Employees see and edit it, and the author remains the person who created it. The assignee can be chosen from the users of your account.
