An Employee's work in a lawyer's account

Updated 10 October 2026 y. • v1.3.0

An Employee (a lawyer's assistant) works inside the account of the lawyer who invited them. They have no workspace of their own until they create one themselves.

What is available to an Employee

Everything available to the owner, except account management: Cases, Contracts, Court cases, Issues and Works, Notices of protection, Requests, Assignments, AVRs, Reports, Customers. An Employee can create, change and delete these records.

Closed to an Employee: the "Account" section (plan, payment, team, invitations), Statistics and Taxes. They are not in the menu, and direct links return to the home page.

Documents are prepared in the lawyer's name

When an Employee creates a Notice of protection, Contract, AVR or Report, the lawyer's data is filled into the document: full name, license number and date, bar membership, and the Notice numbering follows the lawyer's settings. The Employee's own data does not go into documents.

Important:
The lawyer must fill in their profile, membership and license beforehand. If something is missing, the Employee sees a hint about what exactly the lawyer needs to fill in.

Signing Notices and documents with a digital signature is done with a key available to the Employee (as a rule, the lawyer's digital signature).

If an Employee has their own account

If the invitee is already registered and owns an account, they work in it by default. To switch to the lawyer's account, open the user menu in the upper right corner and choose the account in the "Working account" block. You can go back there too. In the employer's account all of an Employee's restrictions apply.
