Creating a Court case: step by step
Updated 10 October 2026 y. • v1.0.0
Creating a Court case in Pravoved.kz lets you bring all the information about the proceedings together in one place, link it to a Case and a Customer and track appeal deadlines automatically.
A Court case is created within an internal Case, so the Case must be created beforehand.
Step 1. Go to creating
In the side menu of your Cabinet, go to the "Court Cases" section and click the "New Legal case" button.
Step 2. Fill in the main details
In the form that opens, fill in the following data:
- Case number — enter the number assigned to the case by the state body (for example, the case number in the "Törelik" information system or the CRSR/URPI number).
- Stage — choose the current stage of the proceedings: pre-trial investigation, first, second or third instance, or other.
- Category — choose the type of proceedings: civil, criminal, administrative (APPC or Administrative Code) or other.
The automatic calculation of the deadline for appealing a court act depends on the Stage and Category you choose (see the article "Case results and appeal deadlines"). The category also determines which procedural statuses are available in a Reason.
Step 3. Specify the body and the official
- State body — required: the full or short name of the court, police department or other agency.
- Full name of the presiding judge/investigator — optional: the details of the person handling the case.
Step 4. Link to a Case
In the "Case №" field, choose from the dropdown list the internal Case under which assistance is provided (when creating from a Case page it is filled in automatically).
Choosing a Case does not by itself link the Court case to a Customer. The Customer and the Contract are added later through a Reason (see the article "How to link a Court case to a Notice of protection").
Step 5. Additional information
If needed, fill in the additional fields:
- Other participants — names of opponents and third parties.
- Related Legal case — choose another Court case in the system if they are related.
- Note — any important information "for yourself".
Step 6. Save
Check the data you entered and click the "Create Legal case" button. The case appears in the general list with the "Created" status. After that you can:
- add a Reason (Contract, Notice, procedural status);
- enter information about the hearings you took part in and record the time spent (the "Participations" tab);
- add Issues and upload files ("Extended" and "PRO" plans);
- enter the result when a court act is issued.
