Case results and appeal deadlines

Updated 10 October 2026 y. • v1.0.0

Entering the result of a specific Court case lets Pravoved.kz keep your personal statistics automatically and calculate the deadlines for appealing court acts.

Important: Your results statistics are visible to you only!

How to add a result to a Court case

On the Court case page:

  1. Click the "Add result" button;
  2. Fill in the form with the required information;
  3. Click the "Save Legal case" button.

What to enter in the form

  • Date of the judgment: the day the decision, ruling or other final document was announced.
  • Date of the final judgment: the date the full text of the act was drawn up (critical for civil and administrative cases).
  • Result: choose the outcome from the dropdown list.
  • Note: any clarifications about the outcome of the proceedings.

Result options

  • Won: the claim was granted or the desired outcome was reached.
  • Lost: the claim was dismissed or the result is unsatisfactory.
  • Undefined: recommended for third parties or cases where the act only indirectly affects the Customer's interests.
  • The claim was returned/left without consideration: a procedural return without a decision on the merits.

How the appeal deadline is calculated

The deadline is calculated automatically from the date of the act and the category and stage of the Court case:

  • Civil — first instance: 1 month; second instance: 6 months;
  • Administrative (APPC) — first instance: 2 months; second instance: 6 months;
  • Criminal — first instance: 15 days; second instance: 1 month;
  • if the result is "The claim was returned/left without consideration" (civil and administrative APPC) — 10 working days, taking holidays and weekends into account.

The deadline is counted from the date of the act in its final form (if specified), otherwise from the date of the act. For civil cases in the second instance, the deadline is always counted from the date of the act.

Please note:
For other categories (Administrative Code, other) and stages (pre-trial investigation, third instance) the deadline is not calculated automatically.

The calculated deadline ("Appeal deadline") is shown when you hover over the eye icon and in the Calendar on the Dashboard.

Viewing and editing

  • Viewing: on the case page, hover over the eye icon.
